I had an amazing time during my Easter getaway in Dickwella. The room I stayed in was spacious and comfortable, and the hot shower was certainly a treat. I also appreciated the fact that tea and coffee were available all day, perfect for indulging in a hot beverage whenever I wanted. Additionally, the location of the hotel was great, with an easy walk to the nearby beach and supermarket. It made exploring the area and running errands incredibly convenient.
The only downside to my stay was the noise from the nearby road. Although most of the time it wasn't too bothersome, there were moments when dogs and occasional traffic disrupted my sleep.

The hotel offered good value for money with a comfortable room and spacious bed. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, going above and beyond to help us. They provided us with useful information about the area and even made us a free meal when one of us fell sick. Additionally, the cleanliness of the bathroom and bedroom was commendable.
The weak wifi connection, which was not very strong during our stay. Furthermore, the hotel's location near a busy road meant that traffic noise could be heard in our room, particularly in the mornings.

The location is convenient with a short walk to the bus station and beautiful beaches nearby such as Dikwella and Hiriketyia Beach. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a good mosquito net and hot showers. The family is welcoming and the breakfast is delicious, with options like potato curry, fruit, eggs, and toast.
The area can be noisy, especially in the mornings, which can be a bit disruptive to the peace and quiet.

During my Christmas stay, I was really impressed with the warm and welcoming family who made me feel at home. They even offered me some delicious traditional food. The spacious bedrooms with powerful air conditioning were a highlight, and the location was convenient, with the beach just a short walk away and a supermarket nearby. Additionally, the family was very accommodating to my dietary needs, which was greatly appreciated.
There were a few negative aspects I experienced during my stay. the noise from the busy main road could be quite disruptive at times.

The beach is conveniently located across the street and Hiriketiya beach is just a 15-minute walk away. The hosts and their family were incredibly kind and made us feel welcome. The traditional Sri Lankan breakfast they served us was absolutely delicious.
The noise from the street was quite bothersome. There was a wedding nearby one night, and the loud music went on until late, making it difficult to sleep.

I recently stayed at a wonderful guest house in a great location near the beach. The room was clean and spacious, and I even got a free upgrade. The family who runs the guest house is incredibly kind and helpful. They even drove me to my next destination at a reasonable price. The included Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious, and they were flexible with serving it at my preferred time.
I do recommend this hotel.

The lovely family warmly welcomed us and treated us like family members. The guesthouse's location is perfect, just a short 1-minute walk to an amazing beach, supermarket, ATM, and everything we needed. Our room was spacious, the food provided was the most tasty vegan food in Sri Lanka, and the family organized many things for us. The garden, hammocks, and seating areas were amazing, and the staff provided a fantastic tour at Udawalawe national park. amazing value for money and a place we would definitely recommend!
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

I had a really enjoyable stay at this guesthouse. The location was perfect, with the beach just a few minutes walk away and a convenient supermarket opposite. The room I stayed in was comfortable and clean, with a mosquito net and a fan to keep me cool. The bathroom was spacious and modern. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, even providing me with a coconut and fruit upon arrival. The breakfast spread was delicious, with a variety of options including daal curry and fried eggs.
The language barrier with the staff was a bit challenging, as their English was minimal.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful accommodation called Mum&Dad House. From the moment I arrived, I felt incredibly comfortable and welcomed. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had a cool and refreshing atmosphere, which was a relief after spending time at the hot beach. I especially loved the common seating area where I could relax, work, and enjoy a cup of tea. The location was perfect, with everything within walking distance, including the beautiful Hiriketiya beach. Nearby, there was a supermarket and plenty of local restaurants to explore. One of the highlights of my stay was the warmth and friendliness of the hosts, who went above and beyond to make me feel at home. They even surprised me with local snacks as a gift. I cherished the conversations we had in the evenings and hope to have the opportunity to visit this lovely place again in the future.

I recently stayed at this lovely guesthouse in Dickwella for three days. The owners were incredibly friendly and even offered us a late check-out until 17:00. The price for our stay was very affordable, especially considering the high quality of the accommodations. The breakfast, made in-house, was the best I've ever had in Sri Lanka. The guesthouse also provided a free tour of the area and beach on a TukTuk. The beach is conveniently located just across the street, making it easy to enjoy the beautiful shoreline. I had a wonderful experience at this charming and welcoming guesthouse.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.
